We are seeking a professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic Travel Concierge to join our prestigious five-star hotel team in the heart of Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
- Quoting, managing, and booking travel arrangements including flights, transfers, accommodation, restaurants, and tours
- Assisting clients and agents in building ideal travel itineraries based on specific needs and preferences
- Maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with clients and agents
- Providing clients with relevant, up-to-date information for their travel plans
- Selling appropriate tour packages to match the client’s profile and requirements
- Handling customization requests and negotiating suitable modifications
- Following up on all quotations to maximize sales and revenue
- Creating and managing full travel logistics and handling all financial aspects
- Making lodge and hotel reservations for FITs and groups, and preparing rate proposals
- Monitoring guest service standards and enhancing customer satisfaction
- Resolving client issues and ensuring smooth execution of bookings
- Staying updated on travel trends, products, and destination knowledge
- Responding to service inquiries and offering expert travel advice
- Supporting the reservations team, including providing after-hours coverage as needed
- Maintaining an efficient administration system within the department
- Assisting management with additional tasks and being flexible with working hours
Requirements:
- South African Citizenship
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality or the travel industry
- In-depth knowledge of Cape Town and its surrounding areas, including hidden gems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences
- Strong knowledge of destinations, including accommodation, transfers, and flight logistics
- Excellent customer service skills
- High computer literacy and proficiency in systems
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Exceptional telephone skills and professional demeanour
