We are seeking a methodical, detail-oriented, and physically capable Stock Control Co-ordinator to manage stock, inventory levels, and the receipt and dispatch of goods in a high-pressure 4/5-star hotel environment. This role is critical to ensuring that food, beverages, and operational supplies are available when needed, waste is minimized, and operations continue smoothly.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar stock or inventory control role within a 4- or 5-star hotel.

Strong knowledge of food, ingredients, and beverage products.

Familiarity with related categories: packaging, cleaning supplies, wine, and liquor.

Proficiency in ERP or other inventory control systems.

Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and a methodical, efficient work style.

Physical capability to lift and handle heavy stock (40kg+), including beer kegs and high-volume deliveries.

Well-groomed, professional, and confident with a friendly, calm demeanor.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication, telephone, and email etiquette.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy.

Allocate, store, and pack stock in designated areas.

Distribute stock to departments and personnel as required.

Record transfers and invoices in the inventory system (ERP).
-
Assist with stock variance checks and conduct spot checks.
-
Perform and capture 10-day and 20-day stock takes.
-
Maintain temperature logs for cold storage units.
-
Spot-check supplier vehicle temperatures and cleanliness upon delivery.

Keep bulk storage areas organized, clean, and compliant.
-
Manage admin and reporting tasks relevant to stock control.
-
Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational continuity.
-
Carry out additional duties as required by management.
