We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Stock Control Co-ordinator to join the team at a prominent luxury hotel based in the Foreshore area of Cape Town.

Responsibilities:
Receive, check, and process incoming stock deliveries for accuracy, quality, and cleanliness.
Store, organize, and distribute food, beverage, and operational stock items across departments.
Record transfers, invoices, and relevant documentation in the inventory management system.
Perform routine and ad-hoc stock counts, identify variances, and assist with reconciliations.
Monitor and log cold storage temperatures and ensure food safety protocols are maintained.
Conduct spot checks on delivery vehicles to ensure hygiene and regulatory compliance.
Ensure bulk storage areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards.
Support operational departments with timely stock allocation and tracking.
Assist with administrative duties related to stock management and procurement.
Physically manage and transport large, heavy deliveries including beverages, produce, and dry goods.
Work collaboratively across departments to support daily operations.
Carry out additional responsibilities as required by the department.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel setting.
Sound knowledge of food ingredients, beverages (including wine and liquor), packaging, and cleaning materials.
Proficiency in ERP systems or similar inventory control platforms.
Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and stock control procedures.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a methodical approach to tasks.
Physically capable of lifting heavy stock items (40kg+) and managing high-volume deliveries.
Professional appearance with a calm, confident, and positive disposition.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone and email etiquette.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
Financial acumen and strong attention to detail are essential.
Proficiency in English required; an additional language is advantageous.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays based on operational demands.
