We are seeking a skilled and driven Sous Chef to join the culinary team of a distinguished fine-dining establishment. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take a leading position in the kitchen, supporting the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional cuisine and managing day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality.

Lead, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff during preparation and service.

Maintain the highest standards of food taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Participate in menu development, cost control, and inventory management.

Train, mentor, and provide feedback to junior chefs and kitchen team members.

Manage stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Work closely with front-of-house staff to guarantee seamless service.

Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently at all times.

Assume the responsibilities of the Executive Chef during their absence.
Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar Sous Chef role within a 5-star hotel or fine-dining environment.

Culinary qualification from a recognized institution.

Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.

Passionate about food with a creative flair and keen attention to detail.

Able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Thorough understanding of kitchen hygiene and health & safety standards.
