A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join a high-end hospitality operation in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for a service-driven professional with strong fine-dining experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support restaurant leadership while maintaining exceptional service standards.
What You’ll Do

Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

Ensure opening and closing procedures and daily shift requirements are followed precisely

Manage table allocations to optimise flow and guest satisfaction

Ensure guest orders are taken according to SOPs, promoting menu items and accommodating reasonable non-menu requests

Lead pre- and post-service briefings to align the team and maintain service standards

Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operational and administrative duties

Assist with staff induction, training, coaching, and ongoing development

Ensure shifts are adequately staffed and assist with scheduling when required

Assist with end-of-month stock counts and accurate stock control

Attend required meetings and training sessions

Identify, report, and rectify potential and real hazards promptly

Ensure compliance with fire, emergency, safety, and operational procedures
What You’ll Need

Matric certificate

Previous supervisory experience within a fine-dining or luxury hospitality environment

Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards

Confident leadership, training, and coaching skills

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Strong time management and ability to work under pressure

Wine knowledge or certification advantageous

Proficiency in restaurant POS systems
