Key Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for the full operational management of the restaurant, including:

Managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.

Leading, training, and motivating the front-of-house team, including supervisors, waiters, and hosts.

Ensuring all guests receive professional, attentive, and memorable service from arrival to departure.

Monitoring and maintaining high service standards in line with the hotel’s brand and operational expectations.

Overseeing opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, reporting, and reconciliation.

Managing staff scheduling, shift planning, and labour control to ensure efficient operations.

Working closely with the kitchen team and Executive Chef to ensure seamless service between kitchen and front-of-house.

Handling guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt service recovery when required.

Monitoring restaurant sales performance and operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to improve revenue.

Ensuring proper stock control, ordering, and inventory management for beverages and operational supplies.

Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Assisting with menu knowledge training and service standards coaching for the restaurant team.

Supporting hotel management with events, group bookings, and special dining experiences.

Preparing operational reports and assisting with budget management and cost control within the department.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager within a hotel or busy restaurant environment.

Strong leadership ability with experience managing and developing hospitality teams.

Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, guest service, and food & beverage standards.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced hospitality environment.

Strong communication skills and a guest-focused approach.

Experience with restaurant POS systems and reporting tools will be advantageous.
