A prestigious five-star property in Constantia is seeking a Receptionist / Relief Night Auditor to join its front office team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction during the day and thrives in the structured responsibility of night audit duties. It requires precision, accountability and a calm, professional presence.
What You’ll Do
• Welcome and check in guests efficiently and professionally
• Manage guest enquiries via email, telephone and in person
• Take ownership of guest concerns and ensure prompt resolution
• Balance daily revenue reports and perform night audit procedures when required
• Conduct daily pit checks and ensure financial accuracy
• Manage guest accounts and billing processes
• Distribute daily reports to relevant department heads
• Operate the switchboard and coordinate reservations and restaurant bookings
• Liaise effectively between departments to ensure seamless service
• Maintain strong knowledge of room categories and property offerings
What You’ll Need
• 1–2 years’ experience in a five-star property
• Night audit experience essential
• Strong numeracy and financial accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
• High level of accountability and sense of ownership
• Ability to work shifts including night shifts
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Own transport advantageous
