Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for a Receptionist | Night Auditor to join a well-established 4-star hotel based in Woodstock, Cape Town.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working independently during night shifts while ensuring smooth front office operations and accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk during night shift operations
- Perform daily night audit procedures, ensuring all transactions are balanced and accurate
- Check guests in and out efficiently, delivering a professional and welcoming experience
- Handle guest queries, requests, and any concerns during the night shift
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management review
- Ensure all systems are updated and reconciled correctly
- Maintain high levels of security and awareness within the property during night hours
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments where required
- Ensure a smooth handover to the morning team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Front Office or Night Audit role within a hotel environment
- Experience working on hotel management systems (Opera experience advantageous)
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Well-presented, professional, and reliable
- Flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
