About the Role
You will support the Head Chef in managing the pastry section, ensuring high-quality production, creativity, and consistency across all pastry offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the pastry section and ensure smooth daily operations
- Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Assist with menu development and new dessert concepts
- Manage stock, ordering, and minimise waste
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff
- Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
Requirements
- Culinary qualification with a focus on pastry
- Previous experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or Senior Pastry Chef
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
