A renowned fine dining restaurant in Stellenbosch is looking for an enthusiastic and polished Junior Barman to join its award winning team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a world class Japanese dining environment known for precision, elegance and an elevated guest experience.
As a Junior Barman you will support the bar team in crafting beautifully presented beverages, delivering warm service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and detail. This role is ideal for a well presented, guest focused individual with a genuine passion for drink preparation and luxury hospitality.
What You Will Do

Prepare alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages with consistency and accuracy

Interact warmly with guests, take orders and serve drinks and light snacks

Assess guest preferences and offer well considered recommendations

Mix ingredients, prepare garnishes and support cocktail production

Ensure bar mise en place is complete and maintained throughout service

Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

Maintain strict hygiene standards across all bar areas

Support daily bar setup including coffee stations and equipment checks

Assist management with bar stocktaking and control procedures
What You Need

Ideally 2+ years’ experience as a Barman in a quality restaurant or hotel

Passion for hospitality with excellent people and communication skills

Ability to work late shifts and travel to Stellenbosch as required

Comfortable engaging with high profile and distinguished guests

Strong attention to detail with a professional attitude and self discipline

Ability to work seamlessly with diverse teams and to high service expectations

Basic computer and administration ability
