A dynamic and reputable hospitality group in Cape Town is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to support its technology infrastructure and ensure smooth daily operations across departments. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience in a hospitality or service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices

Manage user accounts, permissions, and backups across systems

Monitor and maintain the hotel’s IT infrastructure and Wi-Fi connectivity

Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and connectivity issues promptly
-
Maintain inventory and documentation of IT assets and procedures
-
Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades

Liaise with external vendors and service providers as required
-
Ensure data security and compliance with IT protocols
Requirements:
-
Diploma or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field
-
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an IT support/technician role

Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, networks, and peripherals

Familiarity with hotel management systems (Opera, Micros, etc.) is advantageous
-
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
-
Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to urgent issues

Willingness to work flexible hours or be on-call when necessary
