A luxury hospitality property in Franschhoek is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations, lead hotel teams and ensure consistently high guest satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational control and a clear focus on service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily hotel operations, arrivals, departures and special guest requirements

Maintain high standards across public areas, rooms and guest facilities

Monitor guest feedback and online reputation, driving service improvements

Work closely with department heads to ensure consistent service delivery

Liaise with Maintenance to manage urgent issues and ongoing projects

Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management and team development

Drive forecasting, budgeting and stock control in collaboration with Finance

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and brand expectations
Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ Hotel Manager experience within a 5-star or luxury property

Hospitality or Hotel Management qualification

Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills

Advanced computer literacy including hotel systems

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
