We’re looking for a confident and guest-focused Hotel Duty Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, support department teams, and ensure consistently high service standards across the property. This role suits a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys being present, problem-solving in real time, and creating memorable guest experiences.
What You’ll Do

Maintain a strong presence across guest areas, ensuring service standards are consistently upheld

Oversee the guest journey, including VIP arrivals, special occasions, and returning guests

Handle guest concerns professionally, implementing effective service recovery

Support Front Office, Concierge, and operational teams during peak periods

Conduct regular checks of public areas, facilities, and service flow

Monitor guest feedback and online reputation, driving service improvements

Assist with risk management, incident handling, and guest communication

Encourage upselling of rooms, facilities, and outlets where appropriate

Act as a key point of contact for guests, staff, and internal stakeholders
What You’ll Need

Hospitality diploma or degree preferred

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Duty Manager or similar management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel

Strong guest relations skills with a calm, solutions-driven approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Solid operational knowledge across hotel departments

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

Confidence working with Opera and MS Office

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays
