Are you a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and refrigeration expertise? We’re recruiting a Hotel Appliance Tech Supervisor to support the smooth and uninterrupted operation of a high-profile hotel and apartment property in Sandton.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, solutions-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and understands the importance of preventative maintenance and guest satisfaction.
What You’ll Do

Assist with the daily management of the Maintenance department

Maintain and repair hotel and apartment appliances

Oversee preventative maintenance programmes

Supervise and guide maintenance staff to ensure productivity and efficiency

Support project management of upgrades and property developments
-
Liaise with apartment owners and internal departments regarding maintenance requirements

Maintain accurate job records and assist with reporting
-
Ensure quality control across public and back-of-house areas
-
Step into departmental leadership in the absence of the Maintenance Manager
What You’ll Need

N3 Diploma in Appliance Technician trade or Domestic Appliance Mechanic qualification

Minimum 4 years’ experience in electrical and refrigeration

At least 3 years’ experience within a hotel, apartment or penthouse environment

Supervisory experience within maintenance

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability

Good understanding of health and safety regulations

Strong communication skills and guest-focused mindset
-
Ability to work shifts and overtime when required
