A luxury hospitality property in Cape Town is seeking an organised, service-focused Guest Liaison / Night Relief to help deliver a personal and seamless guest experience, from arrival through to departure.
This role combines guest liaison, front-of-house administration, concierge support and overnight operations. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is essential, with at least three years’ experience in a five-star or similar luxury environment.
Key responsibilities

Deliver personalised guest service from check-in to departure.

Handle reservations, billing, guest profiles and correspondence accurately and discreetly.

Prepare guest lists, itineraries, daily reports and shift handovers.

Maintain administrative systems using Opera, POS and Microsoft Office.

Assist with concierge services, recommendations and bookings.

Oversee overnight operations, ensuring the property is secure and ready for guests each morning.

Work closely with all departments to support smooth operations and maintain service standards.
Requirements

A minimum of three years’ experience in a five-star or similar luxury hospitality environment.

A formal hospitality qualification is preferred.

Strong administrative experience and excellent computer literacy, including Opera, POS, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Fluent English and strong communication skills, with confidence assisting international guests.

A professional manner, a welcoming approach and a strong focus on guest service.

Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks.

Knowledge of Cape Town’s cultural attractions, restaurants and leisure activities.

Flexibility to work early, late and night shifts, including weekends.

South African nationals are preferred.
Working hours
The role involves the following shifts:

Early: 06:30–15:30
-
Late: 14:00–23:00

Night: 22:00–07:00
