A prestigious luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking an exceptional Front Office Manager to lead its guest-facing operations. What You’ll Do

Maintain and elevate guest experience standards across all Front Office functions

Lead and inspire a team of supervisors and front office professionals through coaching, mentoring and structured development

Oversee guest relations, with a strong presence in the lobby and personalised service for high-profile guests

Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and implement effective guest recovery strategies

Ensure smooth communication across departments and uphold all operational systems, SOPs and service protocols

Drive service excellence in line with international luxury standards

Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs and coordinate cross-training initiatives

Manage recruitment, scheduling, team performance and departmental discipline

Monitor financial controls, budgets, upselling and revenue opportunities

Ensure accuracy in Opera data, reports, administrative tasks and overall departmental compliance

Support operational leadership in the absence of senior managers
What You’ll Need

Matric; hospitality or management qualification advantageous

Minimum 3 years in a Front Office management role within a luxury or 5 star environment

Strong leadership, communication and guest relations capability

Proven ability to manage a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment

Skilled in guest recovery, problem-solving and decision-making

Strong financial awareness including budgets, cost control and revenue optimisation

Experience with Opera Cloud and MS Office
