We are seeking a highly experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a prestigious 5-star hotel in Sandton.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day Food & Beverage operations in the restaurant, bar, and room service.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery that aligns with the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain exceptional guest service.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
- Oversee the setup of dining areas and ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
- Lead and motivate the F&B team, ensuring a professional and customer-focused atmosphere.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring efficient usage.
- Support the F&B Manager with inventory checks, ordering stock, and supplier management.
- Help achieve revenue targets by upselling food and beverage items.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain hygiene standards in line with HACCP and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all equipment and service areas are well maintained.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine dining and bar service.
- Experience in managing staff and handling guest relations professionally.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service periods.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of stock control and cost management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
