Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for an Executive Housekeeper to join a renowned luxury hotel situated along South Africa’s iconic Garden Route.

About the Role:
As Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the full housekeeping operation, ensuring all guest rooms, suites, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
You will play a key role in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to deliver consistent 5-star standards
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to exceptional levels of cleanliness and detail
- Oversee daily operations including room allocations, inspections, and turnaround times
- Coordinate closely with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Conduct regular quality inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage staff training, development, and performance reviews
- Control stock, linen, and housekeeping supplies effectively
- Monitor departmental budgets and ensure cost control
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 8–10 years’ housekeeping experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior leadership role within a 5-star property
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
- Strong operational and technical understanding of housekeeping departments
- Experience with OPERA Cloud advantageous
- Computer literate
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or similar (beneficial)
