An exceptional opportunity for an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead a high-performing housekeeping operation at a refined coastal hotel in Hermanus. This role is suited to a hands-on leader with a strong eye for detail, a passion for service excellence and the ability to maintain consistently high standards across rooms and public areas.
What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the full housekeeping operation, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards

Oversee room readiness and turnaround times in line with check-in requirements

Conduct daily room and public area inspections, ensuring consistent quality

Train, motivate and manage the housekeeping team, including rosters and performance management

Coordinate closely with Front Office and Maintenance to manage priorities and special requests

Manage linen, amenities, cleaning supplies and equipment effectively

Maintain compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards

Control departmental costs and manage stock levels responsibly

Ensure accurate housekeeping records, reports and operational documentation
What You’ll Need

Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a senior housekeeping leadership role

Background within a high-end or service-driven hotel environment

Strong operational and technical housekeeping knowledge

Confident leadership and people management skills

High attention to detail and a structured, organised working style

Computer literacy and exposure to hotel systems (OPERA Cloud advantageous)

Ability to work independently and lead by example
