A prestigious Waterfront hotel is seeking a Duty Manager to champion guest experience across the property.
This is not just an operational role. It is about presence, leadership and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the highest hospitality standards.
What You’ll Do
• Act as the primary guest experience ambassador across the hotel
• Manage and resolve guest concerns through structured recovery plans
• Ensure highlighted guests and VIP arrivals receive personalised attention
• Maintain a visible presence throughout all guest-facing areas
• Support front office, concierge and operational teams when required
• Identify service gaps and implement improvement actions
• Drive guest feedback, online reviews and loyalty programme engagement
• Conduct quality audits and spot checks across departments
• Encourage upselling of rooms, facilities and hotel services
• Support risk management and crisis response when necessary
What You’ll Need
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within a five-star hotel environment
• Strong guest relations and conflict resolution ability
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills
• High level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
• Strong organisational and workflow management skills
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
• Hospitality qualification advantageous
• Fluency in English with additional languages advantageous
