Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Domestic & Corporate Sales Representative to join a leading hospitality group.
This role is ideal for a confident sales professional with a passion for hospitality, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to grow corporate and domestic business. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and promoting the company's properties across the corporate, conferencing, wholesale, retail, and domestic travel markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new corporate and domestic business opportunities.
- Conduct regular sales calls and client visits to prospective and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, PCOs, wholesalers, and retail partners.
- Identify client needs and prepare tailored proposals and quotations.
- Grow the regional corporate client database through proactive business development.
- Promote the company's products, services, and facilities through presentations and client training.
- Attend networking events, client functions, and industry events to generate new business.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful implementation of new business.
- Monitor competitor activity and identify new market opportunities.
- Develop creative sales initiatives and action plans to maximise business growth.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience within the hospitality, tourism, or travel industry.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales or business development role.
- Hospitality qualification or similar tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and hospitality sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
