We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator for a Luxury 5-star Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands.
The ideal candidate will support the Head of Marketing in managing all aspects of digital marketing, content creation, design, and communication for a luxury hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Copy Editing
- Write, edit, and update engaging marketing content across various platforms.
- Assist in designing promotional materials in collaboration with the creative team.
- Propose new and creative content ideas to support brand storytelling and campaign development.
2. Digital Marketing
- Prepare structured drafts for publication on digital platforms.
- Schedule content in line with global engagement strategies.
- Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to improve content visibility.
- Manage community engagement across all social media platforms, responding to comments and queries.
- Monitor digital performance metrics such as engagement, bounce rates, and conversions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design team to develop visual assets.
- Create and manage engaging multimedia content across channels.
- Develop, launch, and oversee marketing campaigns.
- Cultivate relationships with relevant influencers.
- Conduct audience research and trend analysis.
- Report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing techniques and industry trends.
3. Graphic Design
- Design marketing collateral including graphics, logos, brochures, advertisements, and press releases using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Coordinate with external print suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Work cross-departmentally to fulfill internal design requirements.
4. Communication & Administrative Support
- Manage distribution and stock control of printed marketing collateral across departments.
- Source quotes and place orders for marketing materials as needed.
- Coordinate media database, press clippings, and coverage tracking.
- Oversee and assist with photo and video shoots for marketing purposes.
- Liaise with local tourism offices, media partners, and affiliated organizations.
- Organize brand information and resources for media requests.
- Provide brand and content guidance across all internal teams.
- Maintain updated databases and assist with preparation of press kits or media bags.
- Manage the Marketing & PR diary.
- Offer general administrative support to the Marketing Manager and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Qualification in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Prior experience in graphic design.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Social media savvy and knowledgeable about platform best practices.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Solid computer literacy and project coordination experience.
- Keen attention to detail and presentation.
- Understanding of web analytics and reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
