We’re recruiting an experienced Catering Manager to oversee food service operations within a high-compliance private hospital.
This role is ideal for a structured, hands-on leader with strong operational control, people management skills and a passion for delivering safe, nutritious and consistent food service.
What You’ll Do

Oversee daily meal preparation, delivery and service

Lead, supervise and develop a large catering team

Ensure meals meet prescribed dietary and medical requirements

Work closely with dietitians, nursing and clinical teams

Maintain strict food safety, hygiene and infection-control standards

Manage stock control, ordering, menu cycles and budgeting

Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards

Handle staffing, rosters, training and performance management
-
Coordinate special diets, allergies and cultural requirements

Maintain high service standards for patients, staff and visitors
What You’ll Need

Proven catering management experience in a high-compliance environment

Strong leadership and people management skills

Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and structured in a fast-paced setting

Relevant culinary qualification

Experience managing teams of 20+ staff
