We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Café Manager for a Luxury 4-star Hotel in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in creating and maintaining a lush, welcoming, and sustainable environment that enhances the overall guest experience while aligning with the hotel’s luxury and eco-conscious brand values.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily café operations to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience

Lead, train, and motivate the service team to uphold high standards of hospitality and efficiency

Manage stock, orders, and supplier relationships effectively

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, specials, and promotions

Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving concerns promptly

Monitor financial performance, including budgets, cost control, and revenue targets
Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial café/restaurant role

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Passion for hospitality, food, and customer service

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient in POS and stock management systems

Flexible, hands-on, and solutions-oriented approach

Hospitality qualification or similar is an advantage
