Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced and service-driven Butler to join a prestigious luxury hospitality property in the Cape Winelands.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering personalised, intuitive service and creating memorable experiences for discerning guests. As a Butler, you will be responsible for anticipating guest needs, providing seamless service throughout their stay, and ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and escort guests, ensuring a warm and professional arrival experience
- Assist with guest check-in and check-out, including valet services where required
- Introduce guests to their rooms and explain all facilities and personalised services
- Assist with restaurant reservations, itineraries, activities and local recommendations
- Deliver personalised service with discretion, professionalism and attention to detail
- Maintain accurate guest preference profiles to personalise future stays
- Liaise closely with all hotel departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly
- Provide in-room food and beverage service, including breakfast service where required
- Support housekeeping with room preparation and turndown services
- Accompany guests on transfers and excursions when required
- Process guest charges accurately using Restaurant POS and Protel systems
- Identify opportunities to continually enhance the guest experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Butler, Concierge or within a luxury hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of luxury food and beverage service standards
- Experience using Restaurant POS systems
- Experience with Protel PMS would be advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of the Franschhoek area and surrounding attractions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, discreet and guest-focused approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver outstanding service
- Matric certificate
- Food and/or Wine qualification would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work shifts and support other hotel departments when required
