This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced events environment and enjoys coordinating functions from planning through to execution. You will ensure all events run smoothly while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all banqueting and event bookings from start to finish
- Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and expectations
- Work closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth execution
- Prepare function sheets and communicate event details to all departments
- Ensure venues are set up according to client specifications
- Oversee events and ensure service standards are maintained
- Handle last-minute changes and problem-solve effectively
Requirements
- Previous experience in banqueting or events coordination
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong guest service focus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
