We are seeking an organized and enthusiastic Banqueting Coordinator to join our events team. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing banqueting functions, ensuring that every event runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of banqueting events from initial inquiry through to event execution and post-event follow-up.

Liaise directly with clients to understand their requirements and tailor services to meet their needs.

Work closely with kitchen, service, and events teams to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverage services.

Prepare event layouts, seating plans, and detailed function sheets for internal teams.

Manage event logistics, including setup, service flow, and breakdown.

Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams before, during, and after events.

Handle client queries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.

Assist in preparing cost estimates, event contracts, and billing documentation.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.

Contribute ideas to improve the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in event coordination, banqueting, or hospitality is preferred.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software is an advantage.
