About the Role
As Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest luxury standards.
You will play a key role in leading, training, and motivating the housekeeping team while ensuring efficient operations, attention to detail, and a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including staff scheduling and workflow
- Ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet exceptional luxury standards
- Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain high performance
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements where needed
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Manage stock, inventory, and housekeeping supplies efficiently
- Maintain strong attention to detail and report maintenance issues promptly
- Support sustainable housekeeping practices and initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Assistant Housekeeping Manager role within luxury hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of SOPs, luxury service standards, and health & safety regulations
- Proficient in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Well-presented with excellent grooming standards
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
