About the Role
You will support and deputise for the Front Office Administration Manager, overseeing Reservations, Reception, and Concierge. You’ll ensure smooth daily operations, maximum occupancy at optimal rates, and service that exceeds expectations — all in line with our luxury brand standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential; 3-year hospitality qualification advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a 4- or 5-star Front Office
- Exceptional communication skills; fluent in English
- Strong computer skills (INFOR & Microsoft Office)
- Proven leadership, training, and team-building abilities
- Business acumen with financial and negotiation skills
- Strong administrative, analytical, and detail-oriented capabilities
- Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of Reservations, Reception, and Concierge
- Schedule and oversee staff to ensure optimal coverage
- Maintain handover, cash control, billing, room allocation, and records procedures
- Monitor departmental performance and assist with recruitment, training, and appraisals
- Maximise occupancy and uphold guest service excellence
- Manage daily revenues and report irregularities
- Identify industry trends and recommend improvements
Additional Duties
- Represent the department in management meetings
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
