Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Housekeeper in the day-to-day management of the Housekeeping department.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards.
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to luxury standards.
- Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Monitor departmental budgets, stock control, and housekeeping supplies.
- Ensure health, safety, hygiene, and housekeeping procedures are followed at all times.
- Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns professionally.
- Assist in driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, or Senior Housekeeping Supervisor within a quality hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good organisational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Experience with housekeeping systems and stock control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for guest service.
